We’ve just returned from national workshop tour & during our journey we’ve picked up on a few very important things that’s worth sharing with anyone who’s interested in or joining us at our workshop events.
Limited Number of Attendees
We keep our workshops small, so we do limit most of our workshops to only 10 attendees. The reason being that these are practical courses and by the time you leave you’ll already have the basics done and you can simply carry on using the skills and training provided to you during a workshop. That will be absolutely impossible to do if we allowed for more attendees. It’s very important to us that you truly get the value and personal attention you deserve during these workshops and that’s why we limit attendees. That is why it’s absolutely critical for you to make an officially booking with us as soon as possible if you are interested in attending one of our workshop events. There are no exceptions made; if the event is fully booked you will have to wait ‘till the next time that we are in town.
Bookings must be made by the R.S.V.P. Date
All bookings must be made by the book by date provided. The reason for this is that we use very exclusive venues that cater for each and every attendee on an individual basis. In order for us and the venue to make all these arrangements for you, you will need to have booked by a certain date. Someone can’t make special arrangements for late bookers when all other attendees have booked in time and this puts a lot of pressure on all those involved in the workshop arrangements. If you’ve missed the book by date, you will have to be placed on our notification waiting list so you can attend the next workshop (if any is planned in your area in the near future).
No Chancers
We had quite a few security breaches on our national tour. Not in terms of safety, but in terms of chancers. People who have not officially booked and who have not paid for their workshop seat attempted to sneak into the workshop sessions. This will NEVER be allowed – not even with the promise of payment etc. This is for obvious reasons; the workshop caters for all the attendees who have officially booked and it’s very unfair for a completely random person to then come and steal their time and learning opportunity, not to mention snacks, drinks etc. Therefore, we have even more strict security measures in place and you will not even be allowed to enter the venue if your name is not on our official guest list.
Bring your Laptop
These are practical courses and by attempting to do everything we do during the workshop on your mobile phone, you will lose out on a lot of the things you can’t do via your phone, fall behind the rest of the group as well as become very frustrated since everything will be twice as hard to attempt via your phone. At the end of the day it remains your prerogative to bring a laptop or not, but this is our recommendation if you want to fully benefit from the workshops.
Come Prepared
Ensure that you remember or bring all your login details for the various platforms/accounts. This obviously does not pertain to those who will be setting up/starting their pages/accounts etc. with us. This only refers to those who already have existing pages/accounts etc. Our workshops are jam-packed; there’s no time to waste waiting for someone to remember a username or reset passwords etc. and it’s also very unfair to the rest of the attendees who came prepared.
Our workshops truly are amazing knowledge-sharing as well as networking sessions and should not be missed. To find out if we have any upcoming workshops in your area, please contact us here.
